NDIS supportHearing, vision and sensory disability support
Support for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, blind or have low vision, or are deafblind, built around how you communicate and how you like to do things.

Conditions in this group
Sensory disability looks different for everyone. We start by asking how you communicate and what works for you.
- Hearing impairment
- Vision impairment
- Deafblindness
What support can look like
Support focuses on independence, getting around and staying connected.
Working the way you communicate
Before support starts, we ask how you communicate, how you like to be guided, and how you want information shared. If you use Auslan, tactile signing or other methods, tell us and we will be honest about which workers can support you.
We also work with the specialist services you already use for equipment, orientation and mobility training, or interpreting.

Good to know
For specialist information and services, organisations such as Vision Australia and Expression Australia are good places to start.
iCare4U provides practical in-home and community support. We do not diagnose conditions or provide medical treatment. The supports we can offer depend on your goals, your plan and funding, your service agreement and worker availability, and we’ll be honest with you about whether we’re the right fit.
