The Outer Eastern Melbourne NDIS area

The Outer Eastern Melbourne NDIS service area covers three local government areas: Knox, Maroondah and the Yarra Ranges. That stretches from Bayswater and Boronia through Ringwood and Croydon, out to Lilydale, Mount Evelyn and the Yarra Valley townships beyond.

It’s a large and varied area. Travel time between visits in the Yarra Ranges is genuinely different to working in Ringwood, and rostering that badly is how participants end up with workers who arrive late and leave early. We plan for it rather than pretending distance doesn’t exist.
