Autism and intellectual disability support.
Support workers matched on personality and communication style, not just availability — for NDIS participants across Melbourne.

For a lot of NDIS participants, the difference between support that works and support that doesn’t has very little to do with the tasks on the plan. It comes down to whether the participant actually gets on with the person turning up.
A worker who talks too much, moves too fast, or doesn’t read that today isn’t a good day can undo months of progress. A worker who fits can build trust that makes everything else possible.
This is why we let participants and families choose their own support worker, and why we’d rather take a bit longer to find the right person than fill a shift quickly with the wrong one.
What we support with
Daily personal activities — support with personal care, routines and the parts of the day that are hardest, delivered in a way that respects how someone prefers things done.
Community and social participation — getting to activities, groups, appointments and work, with support that fades back as confidence grows rather than staying at the same level indefinitely.
Building daily living skills — cooking, budgeting, catching public transport, managing a household. Capacity building supports that work towards genuine independence.
Household tasks — practical help keeping a home running.
Transport — getting where you need to be, safely and on time.
Respite — planned and emergency support so families and carers get a break.
Predictability, communication and sensory needs
We ask about these things at intake rather than discovering them the hard way. Whether someone prefers a text before a visit rather than a knock. Whether the TV needs to be off. Whether a change of worker needs two weeks’ notice, not two days. Whether communication works better written down.
These aren’t special requests — they’re the basic information a support worker needs to do the job properly, and it’s worth asking any provider how they capture and pass on that detail.
We support participants who are NDIA‑managed, plan‑managed and self‑managed.
Where to get autism information and advice
We provide support workers — we’re not a diagnostic or therapeutic service. Autism Connect, run by Amaze, is a free national autism helpline offering information and advice on 1300 308 699, 8am–7pm Monday to Friday.
Visit Amaze for autism information and resources in Victoria.
