NDIS supportSupport for complex health and chronic conditions
Practical support at home for people whose long-term condition affects energy, mobility or daily routines, planned around good days and harder days.

Conditions in this group
These conditions are often managed mainly through the health system. Where a permanent impairment affects daily life, NDIS supports may also help.
- Chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS)
- Fibromyalgia
- Cystic fibrosis
What support can look like
Support is paced around your energy, so the effort goes into the things that matter most to you.
Working with your health team
Your GP and specialists manage your treatment. We focus on the practical side of daily life and follow any pacing or activity plans you have agreed with them.

Good to know
Many chronic health conditions are funded mainly through the health system. The NDIS only funds supports where a permanent impairment substantially affects daily life, so eligibility for these conditions varies a lot from person to person. If you are not sure, the NDIA eligibility checklist is a good first step. If you are 65 or over, support at home comes through aged care instead.
iCare4U provides practical in-home and community support. We do not diagnose conditions or provide medical treatment. The supports we can offer depend on your goals, your plan and funding, your service agreement and worker availability, and we’ll be honest with you about whether we’re the right fit.
